They are under nee ownership. This is my first visit since the new owners took over. 1st. DO NOT use the website. It is no longer their site, and who knows what actually is. I ordered teriyaki chicken and also sautéed vegetables. The teriyaki chicken was very good, tender, and better than the old owners. But the sautéed vegetables were... ummm a salad that was sautéed? The service was better than before. I gave 4/5 because of the salad which would be a 3/5 but chicken was butter, so 4/5.

Great tasting food. I got the chicken breast teriyaki and goyoza. They have outdoor picnic tables but no inside seating. We took our food to go and there wasn't any utensils or napkins. The plan was to eat at where one of my kiddos was having a class. Sadly I had to wait until I got home. For a to go only place I thought they'd include utensils.

I work for King County Metro, and have been passing by this place for five years, wondering about the quality of the teriyaki. Yesterday my go to teriyaki place on Madison was in accessible and I had time to kill before work, so I decided to check this place out. I am so glad I did! If you're like me and you love THICK teriyaki sauce, then this is a place for you! The teriyaki sauce is thick, Rich, and deep. The taste is wonderful and you cannot go wrong! This is the best thick teriyaki sauce I've tasted anywhere! It is now my " go to" teriyaki place. If you like thick teriyaki sauce, this place is a MUST! I promise you, you will not be disappointed! I can't wait to go back and it's only been one day! ‍

Our family really loves their teriyaki, short ribs (not sure if they're on the menu anymore though), and...their salads (the dressing is so good!)! Not only is the food good, but the customer service is always great!

Love love this place.. it's been awhile since my last review. I walked in and was greeted by a familiar smiling face. The food quality has not chance - it may have gotten better. I order Chicken Teriyaki with double meat had a small wait (I went at lunch hour) Excellent customer service and amazing food.

I was visiting someone at next door Kin On, and saw this place across the street. I decided to stop by and order some food, so I picked up teriyaki chicken and gyoza. The portion size was fairly large and came out pretty quickly. The teriyaki was good but not marinated quite as long as I would like (maybe it was just my batch). The gyoza were fried fresh and were super hot. Overall, the pricing seemed fair. I wouldn't go out of my way to return here because of its location, but if I happened to be in the neighborhood again and craving teriyaki, I would come back!

Came to check this place out. A friend and another small business owner told us to give them a try. Had been going by this place as it was preparing open up. It's in a very visible location on Rainier. We ordered the short ribs and chicken karaage. I like that the salad cane in a separate container rather than in the same container as the meat and rice though there were a couple of tiny brown pieces of lettuce, the dressing is a miso blend I believe very tasty. Service was friendly. It's a small space about three tables inside but some picnic tables under cover outside with cute planters. Being Japanese American one of my biggest pet peeves is when people don't pronounce the food correct that they're selling, but that's just me my dad always laughs at me about it. I believe the son of the owner is the one that took our order and he's half Japanese so I think it's to his benefit to pronounce things correctly there many places that don't but I feel it will teach other people to say things correctly and impress those who know. Sorry on to the food. We really liked the crispiness of the chicken karaage my dad liked the spicy mayo sauce that came with it. The short ribs had great flavor you can tell it was marinated well, they were nice and tender think it could've have a little more char and it would've been perfect. We don't go to teriyaki places often it's nice to see the short ribs and karaage as options.
